Rashmi Ghosh, a Chartered Accountant by profession, reoriented her life from a sustained career in finance and over two decades of teaching toward the pursuit of visual arts—an enduring creative calling. Her formal engagement with art began through weekend studies in Fine Arts, where she trained in watercolour under Milind Mulick and other accomplished practitioners, shaping the foundation of her visual language.

An emerging artist with a steadily evolving presence, Rashmi’s work has been exhibited in over ten group shows across India, alongside an international solo exhibition in Malaga, Spain, and the international virtual exhibition Opening, curated by Sergio Gomez in Florida, USA.

Her practice gained significant recognition at the India Art Architecture and Design Biennale 2023, a flagship initiative by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, where four works from her series Descent into India’s Incredible Stepwells were presented under the curatorial vision of Vikramjit Singh Rooprai and Dr Abira Bhattacharya.

Her professional journey in the arts was catalyzed through her association with ArtNext Level, led by Sergio Gomez, followed by her selection into the two-year mentorship program Emerging Indian Artists (2019–2022) at Kalanirvana International Art Center.

Currently, her practice is anchored in a research-driven project, Mapping Stepwells: A Visual Narrative, which has been presented as a solo exhibition at Monalisa Kalagram, Pune, curated by Nalini Malaviya—marking a significant articulation of her ongoing engagement with India’s architectural and cultural memory.
