Noise pollution affects the health and behaviour of people in a number of ways and causes many diseases. So, Lord Ganesha with his great intelligence has advocated ways and means to reduce noise pollution like not using horn too often, reduced use of loudspeakers during festivals and others. 
Ganpati or Ganesha has been called Suddhi Vinayaka as the cleanser of pollution due to noise.
