Pune's Contemporary Art Fair

@ 26-29 December, 2019 at Pandit Farms, Pune

It was a dream come true, I got to showcase my paintings at our own city at the most awaited art event- the Pune Art Festival. This was an amazing show of contemporary art with 250 artists and 4,500 pieces of artistic expressions including paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, oleographs, installations, original prints by masters, emerging artists and even from rural parts of India and the Asian subcontinent. There was live painting demonstrations, cultural amalgamation of art and music. This was organized by Rangsamarth Studio to provide a common platform for artists to showcase their artwork and art enthusiasts to appreciate these works. There were about 7,500 visitors, art lovers who came to marvel at this beautiful art fair spread over a wide area of the Pandit farms.

I along with my fellow artists had booked a panel to showcase my artwork. We had an amazing crowd who appreciated our art and were mesmerized by the whole event. I put on display my new painting titled "Ma or Shakti", representing the mandala of the Durga puja celebrations of the North- Eastern part of India in acrylics in the size 40 by 36 inches. I also had my oil painting based on the Dal Lake of Srinagar, Kashmir titled "Reflections of the Soul". There were soft pastel paintings, mandalas and knife paintings of mine too on display.
