Lord Ganesha very gravely and strongly advocates for Environmental awareness and conservation of all flora and fauna. He cautions us: "Earth is our mothre and inspite of our desire to harm our mother, she will always love us forever" but Mother Nature's fury can be felt in devastating floods due to Glacier meltdowns, forest and bush fires, climatic changes, reduced rainfall and tsunamis. We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors but we borrow this from our children. Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's needs but every man's greed.
Ganesha asks us to be compassionate and nurture this planet as there is no Planet B. Afforestration, respect of all creatures, animals and birds. This planet belongs to everyone.
