The stars come out when the pentagon displays its ability to regenerate. The apple provides a stellar example of the pentagram's shape echoed from its blossom to fruit. Besides being present in the five-petal blossom of the apple tree, the star pattern is mimicked in the indentations on the bottom of the fruit as well as the seed pattern when the apple is cut in half.
