The particular miniatures produced by Indian artists in their own style is known as Rajput or Rajasthani miniature. These paintings are done with utmost care mostly with brushed made of squirrel tail hairs, in minute details with strong lines and bold colors set in harmonious patterns. I have created an acrylic painting on the divine love of Radha and Krishna set in the midst of a mythical and a beautiful garden of Vrindavan. In the book ‘Gita Govinda’ by poet Jayadev, composed in the 12th century there is a description of the relationship between Krishna and Radha.
